Rev. Nadine Rawls-Secretary

Rev. NaDine Rawls is a licensed and ordained minister under the Unity Fellowship Church Movement.  She was the Founder of Unity Fellowship North Texas and served as Assistant Pastor of Unity Fellowship Church, Baltimore and Co-Pastor of Unity Fellowship Church -DC


Rev. Rawls has been a spiritual leader for the LGBTQ community for over 35 y

Rev. Rawls has been a spiritual leader for the LGBTQ community for over 35 years, emphasizing that one's sexuality is not a prerequisite for love of Jesus. Currently. Rev. Rawls graduated in May 2025 with a Master of Theological Studies from Eden Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Mo.

Jacqueline Holmes is a former elected official with over 10 years of experience serving the public. Jackie enjoys playing volleyball, riding her bike and reading and she works as a Corporate Governance Paralegal. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in business and a Master’s degree in Public Administration. Jackie has a charcoal labrador retriever name Blue.

Sheresa Gladden, MSW-Member at Large

Calina Kimbrough is a Chicago native who has called Atlanta home for the past four years. A dedicated mother and community leader, she brings a strong commitment to inclusion, empowerment, and lifelong learning. Calina holds degrees in Organizational Leadership, Interpersonal Communication, and Entrepreneurship & Innovation.


As the Founder

Calina Kimbrough is a Chicago native who has called Atlanta home for the past four years. As the Founder of Beta Delta Phi Sorority, Incorporated, she has helped build meaningful support networks that foster connection and shared growth. Drawing from both personal and professional experience, Calina offers thoughtful, grounded perspectives on leadership, resilience, and community.

Sheresa Gladden, MSW-Member at Large

Sheresa Gladden from Northern, VA, currently residing in Baltimore, MD works in the field of social work. Entrepreneur, and advocate for holistic well-being in the Black LGBTQIA+ community. She holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work and is currently expanding her expertise as a financial consultant and property managem

Sheresa Gladden from Northern, VA, currently residing in Baltimore, MD works in the field of social work. Entrepreneur, and advocate for holistic well-being in the Black LGBTQIA+ community. She holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work and is currently expanding her expertise as a financial consultant and property management. Sheresa is also the Chief Marketing Officer of SwimQ, a swimwear brand created for masculine-presenting women in the LGBTQIA+ community.


With a strong background in serving diverse populations—ranging from veterans and youth to seniors, individuals experiencing homelessness, and those overcoming substance use—Sheresa brings compassion, insight, and a solutions-oriented mindset to every space she enters. Her work is grounded in the belief that a fulfilling life includes goal achievement, self-care, meaningful relationships, and joyful experiences.


In her free time, Sheresa enjoys dancing, traveling, reading, exploring festivals, and embracing life’s moments. She is deeply committed to creating spaces where others can learn, connect, and thrive. Her mission is to build the life she deserves—and help others do the same.

Dawn Edwards-Member at Large

Dawn (she/her) was born and raised in Los Angeles, but currently resides in Oakland, where she’s lived off and on for the past 30 years. She earned a BA in Political Science, a Master of Public Administration, completed three years of law school, and has earned a Master of Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Early Childhood Educati

Dawn (she/her) was born and raised in Los Angeles, but currently resides in Oakland, where she’s lived off and on for the past 30 years. She earned a BA in Political Science, a Master of Public Administration, completed three years of law school, and has earned a Master of Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education from Mills College. Her professional focus has been centered on non-profit management, policy advocacy, early childhood education, restorative justice practices, project/program management, curriculum development, direct services and facilitation of a variety of workshops to the community.


Her most recent professional role was serving as the Chief Operations Officer at the Oakland LGBTQ Community Center. 

Dawn’s Community Leadership recently has been serving the LGBTQ community as the VP of the Board of Directors for the Oakland LGBTQ Community Center where she assisted with a variety of administrative and outreach tasks. She is also a graduate of the Rockwood Leadership Fellowship, and a past LeadStrong Women of Color Fellow.


In her spare time, Dawn co-facilitates the Black Women Connect support group, is a mom, wife, a published author with two current book projects in the works, a blogger, and a trained dancer and gymnast who has performed with several companies throughout the Bay Area.
