Black Educated Lesbians (BEL) is one of the nation's leading nonprofits dedicated to building community, leadership, wellness, and educational opportunities for Black lesbians and Black queer women.


Since 2014, BEL has connected thousands of members through national conferences, leadership programs, health initiatives, virtual communities, research, mentorship, and local networking opportunities.

Join Black Educated Lesbians (BEL) for a transformative three-day conference created to uplift, educate, and connect Black lesbians and Black queer women from across the country.


The 3rd Annual BEL Conference is more than an event, it's a space where community, wellness, leadership, and empowerment come together. Through inspiring speakers, interactive workshops, meaningful networking, and practical resources, attendees will gain tools to thrive personally, professionally, and collectively.


This year's theme, "Thriving in Power: Liberation, Legacy & Leadership," celebrates the strength of Black lesbians and Black queer women while encouraging us to invest in our health, build generational wealth, develop as leaders, and create lasting legacies for future generations.
